It happened on Grange Road yesterday evening (August 25)
Cars were left badly damaged after a serious crash in Coventry yesterday (August 25). It happened on Grange Road in Longford.
Firefighters were called to the collision near Foxford Community School at around 7pm yesterday evening. Crews found that a Volvo and a Volkswagen had crashed, with a parked BMW and nearby garden wall also damaged.
Medics were dispatched, but nobody was found injured. Firefighters left the scene at around 8.40pm.
In a statement to CoventryLive, West Midlands Fire Service said: “We responded to reports of an RTC on Grange Road at around 7pm on Monday (August 25). One fire engine and a Brigade Response Vehicle (BRV) attended, crewed by firefighters from Coventry and Foleshill.
“It involved two cars in collision on the road, with one of them then hitting a parked car and a garden wall. Our crews worked to make the vehicles safe. Occupants of both vehicles had self-extricated prior to our arrival.“
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a two-car RTC outside Foxford Community School, Grange Road, Coventry, at 6.56pm on Monday. Nobody was found injured.“
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We received reports of a car hitting another vehicle and a house wall in Grange Road, Coventry, at just before 7pm yesterday (August 25).
