It says there have been some 'delays' to the brown-lid bin service
Council bosses have said sorry over missed recycling bin collections in Nuneaton and Bedworth. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has today (June 11) issued an apology over 'delays' to the brown-lid bin service this week.
Neighbouring Coventry City Council provides the recycling collection service on behalf of the borough council and the Town Hall has said it has been hit by 'unforeseen circumstances'. But the local authority said that all households that have not had their bins emptied should see it collected by Saturday (June 14).
Those whose brown bins have not been collected are being urged to leave it out. The council has 'apologised for any inconvenience'.
The full borough council post reads: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, the recycling service provided on our behalf by Coventry City Council has encountered some delays to collections this week.
"Any bins missed this week on the recycling service will be collected by Saturday, 14 June, at the latest. If your recycling bin has not been collected as scheduled this week, please leave your bin out.
"Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused."
