It will be stopping off in Atherstone for a whole weekend
A 'floating market' with everything from food to handmade goods is to hit Coventry canal. The Roving Canal Traders Association (RCTA) is behind the floating market, which will be held on the on the towpath of the Coventry Canal above Atherstone locks in Atherstone.
The market will be in place on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, June 1. "There will be lots of boats selling totally unique wares and something for everyone to enjoy," said a RCTA spokesperson.
"Take a walk by the beautiful canal as part of your visit."
The RCTA held its first ever floating market in Birmingham in 2013. The market has visited the area before having made its debut back in 2022 at the request of locals.
In the past there have been canal boats selling everything from cheese to crochet goods and crystals. Admission to the market is free.
It will run from 10am until 5pm on both days.
