The future of the current champions remains unclear after they had said they were pulling out of the league because of changes for next season.

Sandhu said: "We would like to assure fans, riders, sponsors and suppliers that we will be fighting for top-flight speedway at Coventry Stadium.

"We will leave no stone unturned in our search for a solution."

He continued: "We have been advised by our legal advisors not to make any public statement regarding the future of Coventry Bees.

"We will make a public statement when we are advised that we are able to do so."
