Severn Trent said that engineers are on the scene
Cars have been left submerged in water as a burst pipe flooded a Nuneaton road. Some locals on Camp Hill Road and Craddock Drive have woken up to find the road in front of their homes flooded.
In some parts, the water levels are so high that they are past the wheels of cars. Severn Trent has confirmed there has been a burst water pipe.
As a result, the road is flooded and some properties have been left without water while some have 'low pressure'. The incident was first reported at 6am this morning (February 25).
A post on the Severn Trent website says that engineers are trying to fix the problem. But no time has been given as to when supplies will be restored.
It reads: "We’d like to apologise to those experiencing poorer pressure or no water supply in the CV10 area of Nuneaton this morning. This is due to a burst water pipe on Camp Hill Road.
"Our engineers are on the way who will assess the burst and start the repair as soon as possible. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing."
