Gas leak at Warwick University partially closes campus

The leak, at the Gibbet Hill campus, near Coventry, was reported at about 1420 GMT. Traffic was diverted away from the area and some roads closed.
It is thought workmen struck a gas main in Gibbet Hill Road.
Police said the leak was made safe by 1715 GMT, but motorists were asked to avoid the area for longer and residents asked to keep their windows closed.
