Officers from Coventry Police were called to Bodmin RoadPolice have arrested a man and three teenage boys following a break-in at a business in Coventry. It happened yesterday evening (Tuesday, October 22).
Officers were called to Bodmin Road in Wyken. Cops discovered a van full of suspected stolen pipework nearby, according to Coventry Police.
A 40-year-old man and three teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and two 18-year-old boys, were arrested on suspicion of burglary, Coventry Police said. All four suspects remain in custody for questioning.
A spokesman for Coventry Police said: “We have four suspected burglars in custody after rapidly responding to a break-in in Coventry. We were alerted to a burglary at a business on Bodmin Road yesterday evening (October 22).
“Officers swiftly attended and discovered a van full of suspected stolen pipework nearby. We have detained three teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and two aged 18, on suspicion of burglary.
“We also arrested a 40-year-old man, and they are all in custody for questioning. We know the impact of burglary on our communities, and we will always look to identify suspects. It comes as our intensive policing operation dealing with the issues that matter to you is back in Coventry today (October 23).”
