Kenilworth is set to have two Christmas light switch-on events this year. The events will take place on Warwick Road and High Street, both with their own dedicated occasion.

The High Street switch-on will take place on Friday, November 29, while Warwick Road's event will be held on Sunday, December 1. Both events are in partnership with Warwick District Council, and organisers say it will be a 'fun-filled afternoon' for everyone.

The free High Street switch-on will start at 5pm and include music, food and drink vendors, and children's entertainment. The lights will be switched on at 6pm, and the event finishes at 8pm on November 29.

Warwick Road's event will start at 1pm with a Christmas market and funfair. Entertainment will start at 4pm with performances on the main stage, with the switch on at 6pm, concluding at 7pm.

CJ Events Warwickshire said: "From a magical market offering a range of perfect Christmas gifts to thrilling fair rides, there's something for everyone to enjoy. And we can't forget the exciting stage lineup with live entertainment leading up to the big switch-on.

"Get ready for a dazzling display of twinkling lights that will truly capture the spirit of the season. This is an event you won't want to miss. Gather your friends and family, and come down to Kenilworth for a truly enchanting Christmas celebration."
