COVENTRY Citizens Advice has announced the official opening of its Foleshill office.

Located on Station Street, it brings back face-to-face drop in support since the pandemic and provides residents with access to free advice.

An opening event was held on September 13 and was attended by local community leaders, staff and stakeholders.

Jon Perry, chief executive of Coventry Citizens Advice, said: “We are thrilled to reopen our doors for face-to-face support in Foleshill.

“For many in our community, particularly those with complex issues or those who lack access to technology, in-person advice is crucial.

“This office is an important step in ensuring that every resident has the opportunity to access the help they need, in a way that works best for them.”

The new office offers services including face-to-face advice, drop in sessions, specialist services and digital assistance.

Aiming to better serve people who found it difficult to use digital and telephone services through the pandemic.

Jon added: “We will be working closely with the Council and other local partners to develop an integrated approach to advice services, helping residents address issues before they become entrenched.

“This funding will also allow us to build on our already successful services, making them more accessible through more outreach, open-door services, and better distribution of information.

“Our goal is to reach more people, especially the most vulnerable in our city.”

Drop in services start on October 7 and are open from Monday to Friday 10am to 12pm.
