One Beyond has opened at Cannon Park Shopping Centre
Shoppers have been flocking to a huge new budget store in Coventry. One Beyond has opened at Cannon Park Shopping Centre on Lynchgate Road.
Customers were welcomed into the new 14,000 sqft. city-based store at 10am today (Friday, April 5). It is based in the former Wilko.
One Beyond said they invested a six-figure sum in the opening of the new store which has created 30 jobs. Shoppers can expect around 4,000 top-quality products for £1, as well as thousands of incredible finds for more than £1.
A wide range of household brands such as Coca-Cola, Heinz, Cadbury and Pedigree are also available at the huge new store at Cannon Park Shopping Centre. It also has a massive range of new products that have just dropped in store for Fathers Day. Founder Christopher Edwards described the prices as 'unbeatable.'
Created in 2019, One Beyond has branches at West Orchards Shopping Centre in Coventry and Ropewalk Shopping Centre in Nuneaton. It has also opened stores as far as Bradford, Swindon and Glasgow.
Christopher Edwards, Managing Director of One Beyond, said: “We are very excited to be opening a brand new store in Coventry. We are delighted to take over what was a huge empty retail space where the former Wilko store was located.
“It is a great, convenient location for Coventry shoppers. We offer thousands of exciting products that would usually be more expensive elsewhere, so we hope that our low prices will benefit the local community.”
Store Manager Steven McDaid added: “We are thrilled that the opening has been very well received by local shoppers. We had a big queue waiting to get in the store for a first look when we opened this morning and we have been very busy throughout the day so far.”
