‘Happy and healthy’ Princess Kate spotted out and about for first time since surgery as she visits farm shop with Wills

Onlookers said she looked “happy, relaxed and healthy” on the visit a mile from her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor on Saturday.

In a further boost yesterday, Kate and William spent the morning watching children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, take part in sports.

The sightings come amid wild speculation and gossip about her health and whereabouts which left the royal couple “devastated”.

Kate was also embroiled in hurtful criticism over a Mother’s Day picture which she altered using Photoshop.

A witness at the farm shop in Windsor said: “After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there.

“Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well.

“The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops.”

Kate was last seen on public duty on Christmas Day, and has been unable to carry out official engagements since having an operation in January.

It's a pity none of them own a mobile phone and could take a picture?

None of them seem to have a name either and all apparently speak to The Sun and no other newspaper!

BBC reporter says woman photographed with Prince William was Kate ‘lookalike’

A BBC sports reporter appeared to promote conspiracy theories about the Princess of Wales by suggesting it was a “lookalike” who was photographed over the weekend.

The Princess, whose absence from public life while she has been recovering from surgery has sparked a flurry of bizarre conspiracy theories, was pictured visiting the Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday.

Video and photographs emerged on Monday night capturing the 42-year-old alongside the Prince of Wales on a shopping trip close to her Adelaide Cottage home.

It follows weeks of speculation with a series of conspiracy theories about the Princess’ health spreading across social media, among them that the woman identified as the Princess is an actress or lookalike.

Sonja McLaughlan, the BBC’s rugby specialist, echoed this theory online, suggesting the individual seen shopping alongside Prince William was not his wife, but a double.

She also suggested Prince William could have been replaced by an actor.

Commenting on a video which compares the individual in the latest footage against past pictures of the Princess, Ms McLaughlan wrote: “It’s so obviously not Kate.

“Some newspapers are reporting it as fact. But it’s not her. No conspiracy theorist but all very odd.”

Christopher Bouzy, an American entrepreneur who founded a Twitter analytics service that tracks disinformation, inauthentic behaviour and targeted harassment stoked the conspiracy theory fires by questioning the Princess’s appearance.

In a series of posts on X, Mr Bouzy said that Kate looked “markedly different” from the leaked paparazzi picture published by American sites earlier this month, claiming she looked “younger, slimmer, taller and faster”.

He added: “We were told Kate was recovering and would resume her royal duties shortly.

“Yet, in the recent video, she is holding a bag and moving briskly. If she’s capable of such activity, why isn’t she back to fulfilling her royal duties yet?”

I saw a picture on a Russian site yesterday that purported to be an announcement that Charles had passed away! - I'll see if I can find it later and copy it here.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Now who's the 'conspiracy theorist'? I guessed they were covering-up something like this:

Kate Middleton has cancer and announces she is having chemotherapy

Image

Kate Middleton has been diagnosed with cancer, Kensington Palace has announced. She said the news came as a 'huge shock' to her and husband Prince William.

In a statement, the Princess of Wales said it has been 'an incredibly tough couple of months.' It comes after the 42-year-old underwent major abdominal surgery in London in January.

Kate said that she was unaware at the time that her condition was cancerous with the surgery having been 'successful.' Tests after the operation found that cancer had been present, Kensington Palace confirmed, although the type of cancer and what stage it is at has not been revealed.

Doctors advised The Princess of Wales to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and she is now in the early stages of treatment, it is understood. She has said that she is now 'getting stronger every day.'

In a statement, the Princess of Wales said: “I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you, personally, for all the wonderful messages of support and for your understanding whilst I have been recovering from surgery. It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I have had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful.

“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous and the surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present.

“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.

“As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK.”

She continued: “As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits. Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.

“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”
