Customers have turned up to find the doors lockedHalifax bosses have issued a statement over the sudden closure of the Nuneaton branch. Customers have been confused to find that the bank in Abbey Street has been closed.
Some of them have taken to social media to find out what is going on and when the branch is likely to re-open. CoventryLive contacted Halifax about the situation.
A spokesperson explained that there is a heating issue that needs to be fixed. However, there has been no date provided as to when this will happen.
A Halifax spokesperson: "We've temporarily closed our Nuneaton branch while we fix a heating issue, and we hope to be able to reopen as soon as possible. Customers can continue to bank on our mobile app, online, or over the phone.
"They can also use the ATMs or visit our branches in Coventry, Leicester or Rugby. The nearby Post Office also offers personal and business customers everyday banking services."
