It was due to be the last and final chance to see the stunning light trailAn 'under water' car park and flooding has forced the cancellation of Luminate at Coombe Abbey. Tonight (January 2) was supposed to be the final night of the stunning light spectacular trail.
But its organisers have been forced to cancel the event altogether. "Due to the overnight rain most of the car parking and trail is underwater," said a post on Facebook.
"We are very sorry, the guys on site have been working all day to try and fix things. Everyone booked tonight will get an email(please check spam or junk folder with details on how to refund, move to next year or go to Birmingham Luminate which is open tonight.
"Apologies again, wishing you all a lovely happy new year.Team Luminate." It is not the only thing to fall victim of the rain.
Roads across Coventry and Warwickshire have had to be closed as rain continues to lash our area.
