Arrests after body found in Warwickshire fisheries lake

Two people have been arrested after a body was found in a lake.



The body was recovered from Danny's Lagoon Fishery at Stretton-under-Fosse, Warwickshire.

Police believe it is that of Jason Stephen Bissell, of Coombe Fields, Coventry, who was reported missing on Monday.

A 40-year-old woman from Coventry and a man, 42, from Nuneaton, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

The last reported sighting of Mr Bissell was at the fishery on Sunday evening and his vehicle was found there.

Police said they were trying to piece together the places he went to on Sunday.

They would like to hear from anyone who went to the fishing lakes on Sunday and from anyone moored on the nearby canal who may have seen something suspicious.
