Three arrests have been made after an incident in James Diskin Court
A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a man in Nuneaton. This afternoon, Warwickshire Police confirmed that they are treating the death of Mark Hoverd as murder.
The 56-year-old was taken to hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning (September 3). It followed calls to West Midlands Ambulance Service to report concern for the welfare of a man in James Diskin Court.
Mr Hoverd later died, police have today revealed. Forensic officers had been spotted around the council block of flats all week and now it has been confirmed that a post mortem investigation held yesterday afternoon (September 7) was 'inconclusive'.

Earlier today (September 8), a 43-year-old man from Birmingham was also arrested on suspicion of murder. All three men remain in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector Collette O’Keefe, who is leading the murder investigation, said Mr Hoverd's devastated family members are being supported by specially trained officers. DI O'Keefe has appealed to anyone who was in the James Diskin Court area between 6pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday to come forward.
“We’d ask anyone who was in the vicinity of James Diskin Court between 6pm on Saturday (2 September) and 8am on Sunday (3 September) and saw anything untoward to please get in touch. I would also encourage anyone who may have dash-cam or doorbell footage to please get in touch with us.”
