An independent barbers in the centre of Coventry is up for sale. NY Trim Barbershop in Spon Street is on the property market for £49,999 - just two years after the business launched.

The 4,194 sqf building has been listed on leading website BusinessForSale.com. "Busy salon located in the centre of Coventry," the listing says. "Great transport links and great footfall for walk-in clients as well as regulars.

"We have a waiting area including coffee machine, refreshments fridge and TV. Our staff currently choose rent a chair option." The listing does not detail the salon's turnover, net profit or the length of the lease agreement.

Interested parties are encouraged to make an approach by filling in the 'contact seller' form on the listings page. On its website NY Trim describes itself as "an independent traditional barber and male grooming brand located in the heart of Coventry City Centre".

"We offer a simple barbering service list, with options to suit all gents' hairstyling requirements," the site says. "It is our job to provide you with the haircut that you desire. A haircut that reflects how you wish to be portrayed, whether contemporary or classic."

The salon employs four people and opens 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 5pm on Sundays.
