Their lives have been turned upside down, including that of her children

A Nuneaton family has been left heartbroken after a young, 'fit and healthy' mum died suddenly. Care worker Amy Elliott had her whole life with her two children ahead of her.

But the Kingswood Road resident went into sudden cardiac arrest and, despite the best efforts of paramedics, she sadly passed away, aged just 33. Now her devastated family, including her daughter and son, aged 11 and 15, are contemplating life without her.

"She was such a caring and bubbly person," said Scott McMillan, Amy's brother-in-law.

"That's what makes it harder. She was also fit and healthy, I think that has added to the shock.

"I know that death is not an easy thing but if someone is ill or a little bit more seasoned, you can say 'well, they had a good life' or 'they are at peace' but this was very much a shock, it just came very much out of the blue."

The family is struggling to come to terms with the loss, especially her children: "The kids are having their good moments and bad moments, everyone is trying to keep them as busy and as positive as possible, well as best you can in this situation."

While the family awaits the results of a post-mortem, it is now having to plan for her funeral and says it is grateful for any help.

"She (Amy) was born and bred in Nuneaton, she worked for Eden Futures and at Harmony House, and just had everything ahead of her," he said.

I've heard of a Yoga instructor the same age suddenly dropping dead for no apparent reason.

Elephant in the room?

I know a very large number of recent stroke victims. - Never known so many in my life. I wonder what can possibly have caused it? :fuming: :fuming: :fuming:
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
