Two men are sought by police after a spate of nasty robberies in Coventry city centre. Police say that bus passengers may recognise them as they believe they have been travelling from Birmingham into the city centre.

There have been a 'series of robberies' and a previous public appeal led to officers identifying four suspects. But two remain outstanding and investigating officers have once again turned to the public for help.

"We're looking to speak to them after a series of robberies in Coventry city centre," said a spokesman for Coventry Police. "Between 2 April and 12 April, a group of men have been seen travelling to Coventry, where they have threatened and robbed a number of people in the city centre.

"We believe they may have used buses to travel between Birmingham and Coventry, so we're hoping fellow passengers might recognise them," the spokesman added. "Four men have already been arrested in relation to this case, and we are working to try and find the remaining two suspects."
