Another housing development could be built on land off a busy road in Nuneaton. Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council has received an application seeking the green light to build off homes off Plough Hill Road.

It is the latest in a number to be submitted for this part of Galley Common and is for 32 new homes. Living Space Housing is behind the application, which states the development would ensure the site 'remains viable long into the future and helps meet local needs in the process'.

It would be built on land to the east of Plough Hill Road and south of Polar Avenue, close to another development under construction. The full planning application, which contains dozens of documents, also add that it will add high quality affordable housing and will be landscaped to include a 'substantial area' of open space, large amenity areas and gardens to be maintained as grass rather than hard paved.

New trees would be planted, to replace those that would need to be felled for the homes to be built. Members of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council's planning team are looking at the planning proposal. It can be found on the council's website under the planning application section at number 038675.
