Warwickshire Police believe they could help their investigation after the fire on Heath End Road

A CCTV image has been released of two people police would like to speak to after a suspected arson at a bungalow in Nuneaton. The incident happened on Monday (July 25) afternoon.

Warwickshire Police were called to Heath End Road around 3.45pm. Nobody was in the property and no one was injured.

The force have reason to believe the fire was started deliberately and are keen to speak to the two individuals pictured. They believe they could have information to help with their enquiries.

Anyone who might have witnessed something or saw people acting suspicious should also get in touch with them. You can call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 215 of July 25.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "Officers would like help to identify these individuals. We believe they may have information about a suspected arson that took place at a property in Nuneaton.

"Police were made aware of a fire at a bungalow on Heath End Road shortly before 3.45pm yesterday (Monday). Although the property was unoccupied and no-one was injured, it is believed the fire may have been started deliberately.

"Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw people acting suspiciously in the area at the time. They are also appealing for the individuals pictured or anyone that knows who they may be to get in touch.

"Anyone with information or who recognises the individuals should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting incident number 215 of 25 July."

It's EXTREMELY rare that identifiable images of juvenile suspects are released by police!

In Holland there is a system by which juvenile suspects are first given a chance to turn themselves in and only if they fail to comply are the pictures released.
