New 'wholesale' foods store opens in Radford

A brand-new wholesale foods store has opened its doors in Coventry. Freshways Cash and Carry launched its new branch at Sandy Lane Business Park on Thursday (July 14), offering what it says are affordable and quality food and dairy products to customers at wholesale prices.

The firm supplies a range of food items including frozen foods, fresh foods, bakery goods, relish, appetisers, confectionary and sauces. It also sells food packaging materials, food preparation equipment and food supplies.

Freshways operates from its three major locations in the UK, including Derby, Stoke on Trent - and now Coventry. The store also provides a click and collect service for customers.

Shoppers can order their products online but the store is also open to the public for general shopping. The store stocks brands including McCain's, Lutosa, Coca Cola, Britvic, KTC and Lamb Weston.
