Multiple 999 vehicles flood Coventry street after 'serious' stabbing

Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in a Coventry alleyway this afternoon, Thursday May 24. Multiple emergency vehicles were dispatched to an alleyway off Robin Hood Road in Willenhall shortly before 3.30pm.

West Midlands Police said a man, in his 50s, was taken to hospital with a serious stab wound to his back. "We have been conducting house to house enquiries in the area and exploring CCTV in an effort to trace the offender," a spokesperson said.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene. No further details have yet been released on the condition of the casualty.
