A woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after three children were hit by a car this morning.
The 41-year-old struck a boy on a pedestrian crossing before mounting the pavement and hitting two girls, police say.
The incident happened on Harnall Lane East, Hillfields, around 8.45 this morning (February 1) and the woman will now be questioned.
All three children, aged between four and 10, have been taken to hospital.
Two girls - one of whom has suffered a "potentially serious leg injury" - have been taken to Birmingham's Children's Hospital.
The young boy is believed to have suffered minor injuries and is being treated at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW).
