The bag was swiped in Leicester but police want to trace woman believed to be from CoventryPolice have released an image of a woman they want to trace in connection with a bag theft and believe she lives in Coventry.
The victim, an 18-year old woman, left her bag on a bench at premises in Calais Hill, Leicester city centre, for a short time, but returned to find it had gone.
Leicestershire Police have released the image of the woman they believe can help their investigation.
Officers believe that she may be from Coventry.
PC Neil Deveney, the investigating officer, said: “I believe the woman pictured may have information that could help my investigation.
“If you know who she is, or you’re that person, then please get in touch.”
