Two women and four men were taken into custody on Thursday morning

Police have arrested six people following a drugs raid on a house in Leamington in Thursday (January 7).

The warrant was executed at around 8.20am at a property on Rugby Road and, as well as the arrests, a "significant amount" of drugs and money were found.

Those arrested were four men and two women, aged between 24 and 52. Two were from Leamington, two were from Warwick, one was from Coventry and one was from Nuneaton.

They were arrested on various drug offences, including suspicion of possession of class B or C drugs, suspicion of being concerned in supplying controlled drugs and suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: "A significant amount of suspected class A drugs, class B drugs and cash was seized from the location, and six people were arrested. All are currently in police custody.

"Anyone with any information concerning suspected drug dealing in their area is asked to report it to the force via our website or by calling 101."
