Police have revealed an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with a suspected kidnapping in Nuneaton.

They hope that by releasing the picture of Stephen Killip, it may bring officers closer to locating him.

Officers want to speak to him as they believe he may have information about a kidnap offence that took place in Nuneaton on Thursday (September 3).

Killip has been described as being white, around 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with short brown hair.

"He is believed to have connections to the Nuneaton and Birmingham areas," said a spokesman for Warwickshire Police. "Killip – or anyone who knows where he might be – is asked to call 101."

As we reported in our newsletter, police were searching in Camp Hill for Killip last night.

Residents in Cedar Road said there were at least half a dozen officers, three police cars and a riot van.

Anyone who has seen Killip or knows of his whereabouts should call Warwickshire Police on 101.

Details can also be passed on to officers via the Crimestoppers hotline, which is free to call from a landline and confidential, on 0800 555 111.
