Police are still on the hunt for a group of men responsible for a Bedworth pub attack, which left their victim with a fractured windpipe.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident which took place outside the Mount Pleasant pub, Leicester Road, on Sunday, July 19.

The incident, which took place at around 1.30am, left the victim seriously injured. He needed surgery to fix his damaged trachea.

It is alleged that the victim, a man in his 30s, was head-butted by an unknown male in the pub carpark.

Warwickshire Police has said that the victim then walked out to the front of the pub, where he was attacked by two more unknown males.

The first suspect is described as a white male, in his early 30s, around 6’1” tall, of average build with dark hair, and was believed to be wearing a dark coloured jacket and dark coloured shorts.

The other suspects are described as two white males.

Despite an appeal for information being made just days later, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

As a result, police are again asking witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to report this to Warwickshire Police online or by calling 101, quoting incident number 94 of 19 July 2020.

Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
