A Listers garage in Coventry has closed with more than 20 workers reportedly losing their jobs.

The Listers Honda site in London Road officially ceased trading on Monday (June 22), although workers have gone through a consultation process over the past two weeks.

CoventryLive understands that seven members of staff had their contracts terminated a few weeks ago - as they had worked there for less than two years - and a further 16 employees were told they were losing their jobs last week.

The PR company who speak to the media on behalf of Listers could only confirm the closure of the site, effective as of Monday (June 22).

The spokesman would not provide any further details, including confirming the number of jobs lost.
