Man 'critical' after police respond to reports of Coventry stabbing

A man is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after reportedly being stabbed in Coventry.

The victim, aged in his 40s, was hospitalised after the incident in James Galloway Close just before 10pm last night (April 25).

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said he remains in a "critical but stable" condition.

Social media reports suggested up to eight police cars and two ambulances were sent to the street.
Arrests

In a statement, West Midlands Police has confirmed that two arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding.

Both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

It would seem that there aren't enough prisons to cope with the increase in these lawless degenerates. :fuming:
