Burglary spree as sheds are targeted overnight

Postby dutchman » Wed Apr 15, 2020 9:06 pm

Four break-ins took place between Easter Sunday and Monday

Residents woke up on Easter Monday to find their sheds had been broken into overnight.

Four break-ins took place between Easter Sunday and Monday morning (April 13).

One or more raiders struck on Canley Road and Nightingale Lane, residential streets which lie on the border between Canley and Earlsdon.

PCSO Nicole Brain said: ”To prevent yourself becoming a victim, ensure that your sheds are locked securely and not vulnerable to thieves.

"Local officers have a supply of tamper-proof screws which can be utilised to prevent easy access to sheds and garages which can be provided to residents."

There you go, it's YOUR fault if someone burgles you, don't expect the police to arrest anyone or anything. :clown:

I remember when every shed and car within a fifty foot radius of a certain flat around here was broken into and the police studiously ignored the juvenile offender who lived there. His family were eventually driven off the estate by vigilante neighbours.

Thats what it will take now vigilantes to plolice their own areas and get these type out.

No doubt they will just give you a crime number.

Seems all our police do now is chase cars .
Then appear in big numbers to stop and fine you in your car if you have nt a good reason for being out or to stop you gathering or having a party with this virus where did all these police suddenly come . from.
