The Met Office has today issued a second weather warning for Coventry and Warwickshire.

A yellow weather warning was already in place for wind from now until midnight tomorrow.

But now we are covered by another yellow weather warning - this one for rain.

What to expect from the new warning:

  • Homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
  • Delays or cancellations to train and bus services are possible
  • Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
  • Some communities may be cut off by flooded roads
  • Possible power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses
The new weather warning is in place from now until 9pm tomorrow while the weather warning for wind is in place until 12pm tomorrow.

The water's not going away here, even though it's stopped raining.

I'm guessing the drains are blocked due to lack of maintenance? :fuming:

Seems our drain system was nt built for this kind of weather. Leaves from the autumn fall does nt help if they have gone down and block the drains .

Next storm coming in is storm Ellen at a rate of 60mph then Frances then Gerda
