Popular Coventry bar shocks customers with message of closure

A popular bar in Coventry has shocked customers by announcing it is "currently closed".

Drapers' Bar & Kitchen, on Earl Street, announced the closure on social media.

The post on the business' Facebook page said the closure was "beyond the management's control".

Although they have not stated in the post that the closure is long term, a reply to a comment from the businesses page states: "Seems pretty permanent".

The full message read: "Dear Customer,

"Due to circumstances beyond the management's control the premises are currently closed.

"For queries regarding existing bookings or other matters please contact Opus Business Services on 01908 087220."

CoventryLive have contacted Opus Business Services for comment regarding the closure.
