A teenage boy has been left with ‘serious injuries’ in a stabbing and robbery in CoventryTwo men attacked the 17-year-old near the interchange of Radford Road and the Coventry Ring Road, close to Coventry Fire Station.
Witnesses reported seeing a body lying on the ground as paramedics rushed to his aid, following the stabbing at around 2pm on January 6.
The teen is recovering in hospital as police start an investigation, they have not made any arrests.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We were called after a 17-year-old boy was stabbed during a robbery in Radford Road, Coventry, at around 2pm on Monday (6 January).
“He is believed to have been attacked by two men who took cash and a mobile phone.
“The teenager was taken to hospital with serious injuries but they are not believed to be life-threatening.
