Armed officers called to reports of threats in Coventry

A man was arrested after armed police officers were called to an incident at a house in Warwickshire.


The man was reportedly making threats to a woman inside the house on Elm Close in Binley Woods, Coventry, on Friday afternoon, police said.

Two children were also reported to be in the property at the time, at about 1300 BST, a spokesperson said.

Officers entered the home almost four hours later and arrested a 30-year-old on suspicion of making threats to kill.
