It did not take place last year as traders claimed they were priced out of having a stall
A Christmas Eve market will be held in Nuneaton town centre following festive fury last year.
In fact, there will be two extra markets this festive season.
Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will host Christmas markets on Monday, December 23, and Tuesday, December 24.
Now the Town Hall wants to hear from any traders who want to set up stall on the two extra dates.
There was festive fury last year when traders claimed that the Town Hall had priced them out of having a Christmas Eve market.
The council stressed that prices had to be increased to cover Bank Holiday costs of staffing and that there was not enough interest from traders to host the market on Christmas Eve.
But there is one this year and traders who want to hold a stall on either of the two dates should email wayne.beasley@nuneatonandbedworth.gov.uk
