A number of Thomas Cook stores across Coventry and Warwickshire have re-opened or are due to re-open this week.

The stores and their staff have been saved by holiday company Hays Travel who have bought 555 of the old Thomas Cook shops up and down the UK after the company went into liquidation.

Hays Travel have offered 2072 jobs to Thomas Cook staff at the time of writing.

Some of the locations are in Coventry and Warwickshire, meaning many local staff members have been given their jobs back.

Here is a list below of which stores have already been re-opened:

  • Coventry Cannon Park
  • Solihull
  • Tamworth

The branch in Kenilworth is also due to re-open on Wednesday 23 October.

On their website, Hays Travel say: "Hays Travel is delighted to say that over 200 shops have opened all across the UK.

"Feel free to pop in for a cuppa and a chat with our lovely teams to discuss planning your next dream holiday."
