Police are urging anyone with information to come forwardA man has been left with serious head injuries after a hit-and-run in Coventry.
The emergency services were called to Hearsall Common at 7.45pm on Saturday (October 5) to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was hit near a pedestrian crossing and suffered multiple injuries .
The details were only released by West Midlands Police today as they revealed the hunt is on for the driver of a red car - thought to be a Suzuki Swift - which is believed to have been involved in the incident.
West Midlands Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
It is the fifth hit-and-run in the city in just over two weeks.
