The drama unfolded in Cheylesmore when a car collided with a number of vehicles on London Road and Daventry Road just before 5pm on Tuesday afternoon (September 17).

The vehicle then eventually came to a stop on a grassy area in Quinton park, just metres from the pond where people came out to see what was going on.

Three people were arrested following the incident on suspicion of offences including drink-driving and dangerous driving, and West Midlands Police has now released more details.

Two of the arrested men, aged 23 and 29, remain in police custody for questioning, while the third, aged 24, has been released with no further action.
