Two Coventry women have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of James Teer in Erdington last monthOfficers arrested the two women from separate addresses in Coventry yesterday (September 12).
Lauren Malin, aged 20, of Community Close, Wood End, Coventry, and Kiri Jolliffe, 21, of William Bree Road, Eastern Green, Coventry, have now both been charged with murder.
They were due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.
Detectives have previously charged two men, aged 18 and 19, with murder following the shooting of 20-year-old Mr Teer in Goosemoor Lane on August 8.
Detective Chief Inspector Scott Griffiths, from the force’s homicide team, said: “This is another significant step in our enquiries.
“This remains an ongoing investigation and I would continue to urge anyone who has information which can assist us to get in touch.”
Ty Blake, 18, of Shustoke Road, Shard End, and Sharn Miles, 19 of Gown Road, Alum Rock, are also charged with murder.
