Man dies after being hit by train in Coventry

A man has died after being hit by a train in Coventry.
Emergency services were called just before midday on Sunday August 11 to Canley station.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) and officers from British Transport Police were in attendance.
Paramedics were called at 11.55am but when they arrived, nothing could be done to save the man and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
