Workers have painted a road marking urging drivers to "KEEP CLEA" instead of "KEEP CLEAR" on a street in Essex
The error was made by a team of Essex County Council employees on the road in Manningtree who seemed to run out of space, the Daily Mail reports.
Town councillor Kerry King said: "I just laughed when I saw it. We are all wondering how the workers could have missed out the R.
"Maybe they went on their lunch or ran out of paint and couldn't finish it."
Last month, contractors working in West Yorkshire accidentally painted the words "BUS SOTP" on a road instead of "BUS STOP".
