A Man is in a serious condition after being stabbed in Coventry
The man in his 20s presented himself to the NHS walk-in centre in Stoney Stanton Road.
It is the second stabbing in less than a week as the city continues to be plagued by violent crime.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of disorder shortly after 8pm yesterday (July 8).
“A man in his 20s later presented himself at a walk-in clinic with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
“CCTV is being reviewed and investigations are ongoing.”
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to the walk-in centre on Stoney Stanton Road at 8.25pm last night to reports of a patient who had self-presented following an assault.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.”
