A cannabis factory has been discovered in Coventry after an early morning drugs raid.

Police confirmed the discovery of the illegal plant grow after searching a property on Three Spires Avenue in Radford this morning.

Officers were on scene at 6.30am, with Coventry North West Police confirming that a woman was arrested inside the address.

Officers found around 150 plants inside the property, with pictures posted by West Midlands Police showing the sizeable haul.

The force also confirmed that a 21-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

She remains in police custody.

In a Tweet earlier in the day, police said: "Early morning drugs raid in Radford today.

"Great result! Cannabis factory discovered and one person arrested inside the address.

"PC Thompson would make a great milk-tray man... #moredrugsoffthestreets."

That looks like a very professional setup to me. Somehow I think there was more than just one 21-year-old woman involved?
