A man was arrested after an area was searched with dogs
A man has been arrested after two robberies in Coventry - in two separate areas of the city.
Police confirmed that a bookmakers and a fast food outlet were both targetted.
The incidents took place between 4.40pm and 8.20pm, at the William Hill on Providence Street in Earlsdon and the McDonald's at the Gallagher Retail Park on Stoney Stanton Road.
West Midlands Police believe that a man entered both of these stores with a note, and demanded the contents of tills.
He was then believed to have fled both scenes.
This morning, it has been confirmed that police arrested a 36-year-old man, following a search of the area with dogs.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, and remains in police custody.
