A man was struck with a baseball bat and stabbed in the stomach during a street robbery in Coventry.
The attack took place in Lockhurst Lane, Foleshill, at around 9.30pm on Monday, June 3.
The 21-year-old victim was set upon by two men near to the junction with Station Street West and during the attack also suffered an injury to his hand.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
He was with another man when the robbery and attack took place and both had their mobile phones stolen.
Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses.
