Coventry man jailed for sexually assaulting a child

A Coventry man is behind bars for sexually assaulting a child and making indecent images of children.

Darren Corden was sentenced at Coventry Crown Court on Monday, June 3, and is now serving a prison term of four years and eight months.

Corden, 36, originally was charged with one count of sexual assault against a child and one count of making indecent images of children.

He pleaded guilty to the charges at a hearing at Warwick Crown Court in May and then also two further counts of making indecent images.

All of his offences were committed in 2018.

Corden, from Aldermans Green, found then out his fate at Coventry Crown Court where he was jailed for four years and eight months for the assault charge and 12 months, six months and three months for the three respective indecent images charges which will all run concurrently.
