Teen stabbed during 'disorder' on Nuneaton street

Two arrests have been made

A teenager was stabbed during a 'disturbance' on a Nuneaton street.

The 19-year-old, who has not been identified, suffered stab wounds to the side of his body during the incident on The Long Shoot last night (May 14).

He was taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening .

Investigations are ongoing into the incident which happened between the junctions with the A5 and Summerhill Drive.

Two arrests have been made.

A 17-year-old boy from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a knife.

A 18-year-old man from Nuneaton has been arrested on suspicion of committing a public order offence.

They remain in custody today this afternoon.

CID officers say the three teens knew each other but appealed for any witnesses to the 'disorder', which happened between 7.30pm and 8pm, to come forward.
