Cops arrested three men following an outbreak of 'violent disorder' in a Nuneaton street,
Officers were responding to a 999 call last night (Tuesday, April 23) reporting an incident in Arbury Road which allegedly involved a knife.
A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said that, as a result, three arrests were made in Byford Street.
They were:At the time of publication, all three remained in custody and were due to be questioned.
- A 19-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
- A 20-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of assault.
- A 19-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested on suspicion of assault, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.
Anyone with any information about the incident, which took place at around 8pm, should call police on 101.
