It takes the number of reported stabbings so far this year to 15A man was taken to hospital following the latest stabbing in Coventry.
The 23-year-old victim was found in Milverton Road, Wood End, with stab wounds to his leg at around 10.45pm on Sunday, April 21.
The injured man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
West Midlands Police released details of the stabbing today as it was one of two incidents which prompted them into using greater stop and search powers in the city.
The other incident saw an 18-year-old stabbed at Wyken Croft Nature Reserve on the evening of Wednesday, April 17.
The teenager suffered head, chest and leg injuries and remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The force say that "at this stage the two incidents are not believed to be linked".

This is reported incidents. I fear the true tally is far higher.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
