The teenagers remain in police custodyThree people have been arrested following an armed robbery at Subway in Nuneaton.
A man believed to be holding a bladed object pushed a member of staff at the fast food store in Queens Road at around 3.45pm on Thursday, March 7.
He then leaned over a till to remove a quantity of cash.
Warwickshire Police say that two girls then assaulted a man inside the premises and all three caused damage to a door before leaving the area. There were no reported injuries.
Two girls from Nuneaton - aged 16 and 17 - were arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of robbery, while a 19-year-old man from Nuneaton was arrested earlier today on suspicion of robbery.
All three remain in police custody today (Friday March 8).
